I have not tried the add-on yet I am going to experiment. I checked on web mail here it is.one account is configured on two computers, one is configured with POP & second is IMAP. Missing mail is showing on POP account Pc but not showing on IMAP pc. I use both webmail and Outlook desktop client to access my Gmail. I am normally looking at the All Mail folder on Outlook. Creating a new OST file clears up a host of weird problems with Outlook. This also caused some issues as outlook did not know where to store deleted or sent items and through up several errors. What about changing the root folder path, in account settings, to "Inbox". It seems to do the send and reset cached Exchange mode receive and get new mail when in offline mode, but not when online.

I have all desktop alerts turned off I prefer it this way I don't need all of that. I just want to be able to look and see new message. Even if I have an account with zero message I need to click to see the new ones there are no numbers appear. I am also running QuickFolders and its the same nothing shows up on those tabs until i physically click on them. Ok so my mistake the Properties option is there when right clicking folder - I was only focused on right clicking on the email address to take me to server setting I was not clicking on the actual folder. I right click a folder and Properties and it take me to attached windows.

I did see a response from a MS person that said it was working as intended, that it wouldn’t refresh the folder until it was selected. IMAP folder sync issue in the new Outlook (moved emails not syncing to webmail)

Looks like at this point there still is not a fix? I am stumped as it the rest of our team. Paying $6 per month vs our current $1.50 per month is a pretty big increase on a yearly basis. We wouldn’t use many of the features included in office 365 to warrant paying the additional cost. Varatex - Outlook in Safe mode did not seem to help.

Outlook not syncing IMAP emails

We only have a handful of people who use the their email across multiple devices at the corporate office. Just a question - why not look at office 365? Mailbox only support is like $6 a month or less, and it is proper exchange, enabling better syncing etc. You should look at your Outlook desktop client settings to review the default synchronization schedule and tweak anything you can to get it to poll Google's IMAP servers more frequently. I access the IMAP servers from 3 different machines, and they all see the changes from each other. The problem is that the some changes are not reflected in the Gmail web app.
