After a minute, it was removed so just went and re-added it and BOOM. One other thing I would check for is corrupted OST files. Turn off cache mode, delete or rename the OST file, and then turn cache mode back on.

Furthermore, when calendar invites are accepted using the Outlook client, they disappear from All Mail and go into the Trash folder, but when using WebMail, they remain in the Inbox. I have seen this disparity for years across different Outlook client versions and Windows versions. I also posted on reset cached Exchange mode the Gmail subreddit about a year ago.

Maybe some encoding behavior or just a different linefeed or something that has changed over the inbox repair tool alternative years... I’ve never heard of setting a path before for email, so apologies if this is a simple solution to those who come across this in the future. If you can, turn off IMAP, require 2FA, and use the native outlook client. Having the same issue with some of our accounts on IMAP as well.

I don't see - 'When getting new messages... I checked all 5 of the tabs in this window that expressions is not there. This seems bizarre the email would not populate. The uploading of the old messages to the new account is what caused the problem. I will try the safe starts and experiment with the buttons ans see if it improves.

While these solutions work, there is are chance that it will happen again. To avoid that, you have to take some repair corrupted OST in Outlook precautionary steps. Pit Stop - Most of our email accounts are for small retail location. We just use POP in those locations because they do not access their mail from any other device or location.

It will synchronize deleted items if I delete an item from my phone, but it just wont receive new ones. IMAP accounts should update automatically on send/receive. Otherwise why even have the ability to auto-sync? If I need to click on each folder to force the sync/download from server then auto sync serves no purpose. When you are accessing Gmail via the web application everything is hosted on Google's cloud servers.

I deleted the Apple Mail app from the phone, reinstalled from the App Store. It's just a little bit technical, but we have an IMAP proxy that chooses from some different backend IMAP servers. If the user account ends up on an old IMAP server implementation (in that case f.i. a Cyrus imapd 2.4.17), IMAP Client of iOS 18 Mail app doesn't work.



Looks like at this point there still is not a fix? I am stumped as it the rest of our team. Paying $6 per month vs our current $1.50 per month is a pretty big increase on a yearly basis. We wouldn’t use many of the features included in office 365 to warrant paying the additional cost. Varatex - Outlook in Safe mode did not seem to help.



I still have to manually click on a different folder other than inbox, then click back to inbox for new items to appear. Microsoft, gmail and other popular accounts should sync automatically, but if they don't, I'm inclined to think it's due to the VPN or a security/antivirus app that is scanning the TB profile folder. A stable connection between your email client and email server depends on the syncing of your IMAP folder. If the server is down and you are experiencing issues, the problem IMAP folder is not syncing occurs. So, check the status of your IMAP server follow the steps below. I have an issue in outlook 2010 that some of mails not showing in imap account Inbox.
